Some friends wanting to KILL me for participating in a BC colored annual. But it was the theme - and it WAS awesome! Then there are the numerous pix with the "laconda" captions - you and Alan's made up word! (How did that one get past Mrs. R?) Oh we had so much fun in that "class"!!! Hope you are well. And where is Alan these days?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8569371.post-11581761214680927462009-02-17T00:39:00.000-08:002009-02-17T00:39:00.000-08:00I tripped upon your blog from your sisters... and ...I tripped upon your blog from your sisters... and how funny to find this post! I, too, was one of the yearbook hijackers. And Laurie. And Yvette Chevette Lebby. I think they also got rid of the benches on the side of the old 100 hall where the portables were. Those benches were a favorite place to talk Dr. Maddox into having class outside! It doesn't feel like it should be that long ago since we finished HS though - in a few months will be 23 years. Where the hell did all that time go??Marthahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13807030788572732797noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8569371.post-83277467390590562082009-01-05T10:02:00.000-08:002009-01-05T10:02:00.000-08:00A couple of folks noted that the photo appeared in...A couple of folks noted that the photo appeared in the yearbook. Would be hard to find some of the old camera placements.Rickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12968721641385680296noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8569371.post-27445824624674503322009-01-01T16:59:00.000-08:002009-01-01T16:59:00.000-08:00I remember the comment by Mr. Fulmer about it bein...I remember the comment by Mr. Fulmer about it being the best one he had ever seen. I also remember that my pic was on a page that was captioned as 'fuel to the fire' as part of the theme. Mr. Rish was the owner of Toyota Center where I worked, and he wholehartedly agreed with that commentary! He expressed what, I believe, we all felt...it was the best yearbook we had (or in the case of my college yearbooks) ever would see. I laughed and smiled through every page. It's funny, but I had it out the other day looking at it. I think Patrick is right, this picture is in the yearbook.

Thanks for the memories, my friend.Stevehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01667536093439755654noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8569371.post-16013604479792360252009-01-01T16:19:00.000-08:002009-01-01T16:19:00.000-08:00I was thinking that this picture, or one very simi...I was thinking that this picture, or one very similar from the same vantage point, DID make it into the yearbook.
