Images from the Past - Toonces
After a day of flea-marketing, Jolly picks up a kitten and names it "Toonces." The kitten lived with Jolly and Terry and me for a while. Then Toonces lived with me and moved to Seattle.
Once, Toonces became entrapped in the tuned port of one of Terry's giant custom-made stereo speakers.
Left to right: Toonces, Jolly, George and Alan.

Ah...Toonces. I once share an apartment with him. He was great. But, he had a habit of drinking the last beer. He once polished of a 12 pack during the world series and somehow pinned it on me.
What a cat!
Ah, what a great memory. As I recall, Alan took what we all regarded as garbabge from his Dad's garage to sell at the Flea Market, but he sold out of stuff in no time flat. The rest of us had to work really hard to hock our sentimental items. I do remember Alan selling his brother's trumpet and demonstrating it for the buyer by playing a ditty right there in the Flea Market. Jolly sold nothing, but came home with a cat instead. Was it a glimpse of our future financial successes? Who knows?
Toonces was a great cat, always finding that rip in the space/time continuum. I don't know how many times I'd walk out the front door and find Toonces waiting by the door.
Toonces! Had forgotten about him until you mentioned him! Where is Jolly? Anyone know?
I miss Toonces. She used to love driving me to all the cool places in Greenville.
Jolly is still living in Nashville. I saw his profile in Facebook, but he never accepted my friendvitation. We should all bombard him with Facebook pokes until he responds.
Ah, yes. Toonces. Out of a home, Toonces and James opened up their apartment to me. Big T, as we called the cuddly rodent catcher, never got over the fact that I could sleep on the sofa all night. I was soon run out of their abode due to a small grease fire that erupted in the kitchen. By the way, what exactly was in that cooler in the closet?
